The Vodafone HLD (High Level Design) web app is a document generation tool for Vodafone's solution architects. Vodafone's enterprise sales process was taking months, as large design documents took significant time to be created and then go through a back and forth process of approvals and ammendments. By running workshops with users who currently create the documents, their pain points were identified and we worked closely with them when designing the tool to create something both highly usable and specific to their needs.

We came up with a web-based app that would allow Vodafone to generate standardised Word or PDF documents, using a form-based front-end to fill in all the required content and a document templating system. In addition, the app provided a versioning mechanism to track changes to documents and a sign-off/approval feature to move documents through the company's sales process.
