Crezco - Homepage Redesign

I joined fintech startup Crezco as their first design hire and Head of UX Design, initially solo before hiring and building a design team. After dealing with redesigning the core payment experience, a quick side project popped up - redesigning the company's homepage.

The existing site needed improvement - in terms of visual appeal and mobile responsiveness, but also just to better explain what exactly Crezco was and how Open Banking account-to-account transfers work. The homepage serves a number of purposes, not just the company's front door online for investors and potential employees, but to also pull in potential business customers interested in using Crezco as a payment method - usually either to receive invoice payments or make international money transfers.

Copywriting and messaging on the homepage was a collaborative effort involving myself, the CEO and marketing manager, whilst I was given free reign to improve and modernise the site. We wanted to keep the branding and colours in line with the established designs, however there was some room to spruce up the company's branding, adjusting the colour scheme to something that had both more pop and improved accessibility, and likewise giving more character with updated typography. This was all happening around the same time we were redesigning the new user dashboard and creating a new Accounts Payable product, so they all fed together into a new design system and updated the brand and visuals across all the experiences.
